AI Biz Voice

Add this assistant to a website

Each assistant has its own website chat. Copy the script from the assistant in AI Biz Voice and paste it once into the website footer. The business owner does not write code. They paste the block, or you paste it while building the site.

  1. 1. Open Assistants and select the assistant.
  2. 2. Copy the website chat script.
  3. 3. Paste it into the website footer using the steps for that platform.
  4. 4. Optional: add the owner portal link to the site menu so the business can sign in and manage the assistant.

WordPress

  1. In the WordPress admin, open Appearance → Theme File Editor, or install a header-and-footer plugin such as WPCode.
  2. Paste the assistant script into the footer, before the closing </body> tag.
  3. Save and open the public site. The chat button appears on the bottom corner.

Squarespace

  1. Open Settings → Advanced → Code Injection.
  2. Paste the assistant script into Footer.
  3. Save. The chat button loads on every page.

Wix

  1. Open Settings → Custom Code → Add Custom Code.
  2. Paste the assistant script, set it to load on All pages, and place it in Body - end.
  3. Publish the site.

Shopify

  1. Open Online Store → Themes → Edit code.
  2. Open theme.liquid and paste the assistant script just before </body>.
  3. Save. The chat button appears on the storefront.

Custom coded website

  1. Open the shared layout that wraps every page. In plain HTML that is the footer of each page, or a shared footer include. In Next.js, React, or similar, it is the root layout file.
  2. Paste the assistant script once, just before the closing </body> tag. Do not paste it inside a single page only, or the chat will be missing everywhere else.
  3. Deploy the site. The chat button loads from AI Biz Voice, so later assistant edits do not require another code change.

Webflow

  1. Open Project settings → Custom code.
  2. Paste the assistant script into Footer code.
  3. Publish the site. The chat button appears on every page.

Where the script goes on a custom site

Put this in the site footer, one time. Replace the site key with the key copied from the assistant. The rest of the tag stays the same.

<body>
  <!-- existing site -->
  <script
    src="https://www.aibizvoice.com/embed/hyperchat.js"
    data-site-key="pk_hc_your_key"
    async>
  </script>
</body>

Common questions

Do I have to edit the website again when I change the assistant?

No. The script only identifies the assistant. Prompt, documents, greeting, and hours are read from AI Biz Voice on every chat, so dashboard edits show up on the site immediately.

Does website chat require Square?

No. A new assistant starts in General mode: it answers from that assistant and can book a callback. Square ordering and invoices stay off until you connect Square later.

What are allowed domains?

Each assistant has its own list. Leave it blank while you are testing. Before the site goes live, enter that site's hosts, such as example.com and www.example.com. Those are different. A script copied onto another domain will not answer.

How does the business owner manage the assistant?

They sign in at the owner portal with their AI Biz Voice account. From Assistants they can change the prompt, upload documents, copy the script, and review website chats.

The chat button does not appear.

Confirm the script is in the footer of the public site, not only the editor preview. Confirm the assistant is saved. If allowed domains are set, the site's domain must match exactly, including www if that is how visitors open it.
